In the specific project, Xenex was fortunate to work with the experienced team of Sbokos Hotel Group and London based design firm MKV Design (Maria Vafiadis).
Scope of works was the conversion of the old Main Restaurant of Agapi Beach Hotel to a very modern All Day Buffet Restaurant, covering the high level demands of the hotel guests.
The restaurants serves all 3 meals - breakfast, lunch, dinner - for 700 guests per meal. Xenex prepared the designs, taking into consideration both the aesthetics (the whole kitchen is open the guests sight) and the required high production.
The cooking part included equipment such as Convotherm 4 combi-ovens, Alto-Shaam holding cabinets, Xenex Steel fabrications. The centerpiece of the kitchen is an impressive one-piece-top cooking island by Olis series Diamante. There is several reasons why a one-piece-top kitchen island was chosen, such as the high aesthetics, the hygiene level (easy cleaning) and the robustness of the stove.
The buffet part consists of Xenex Steel custom fabrications including high technology refrigerated ventilated wells for the holding of cold food. Induction technology was used in the hot holding.
